STANDING FOR FREEDOM
DISTRICT 81 STATE REPRESENTATIVE RJ HAWK
EXPLAINS WHY HE'S RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION

ABOUT
MEET
RJ HAWK
The focus of my campaign will be standing against government overreach, continuing to cut taxes and provide more opportunities to give Arkansan's good paying jobs.
In my first term in the Arkansas House, I voted to cut the state income tax rate from 4.4% to 3.9%. I also co-sponsored raising the Homestead Tax credit to $500. If re-elected, I will continue to work to put more money back in your pocket.

In 2023, we passed the largest education reform the state has ever seen. In just one year, Arkansas has moved from 45th in the nation to 39. I was proud to not only co-sponsor that legislation but vote for it.
Having another opportunity to possibly serve the people of Saline County at the state level is very exciting. District 81 encompasses an area in which Hawk won every precinct during 2022 election cycle. "I look forward to re-engaging my friends, neighbors, and community to listen to their concerns." Hawk continued.

In addition to public service, giving back to the community through charitable work is an emphasis RJ and his family has been heavily involved in. Hawk has led fundraising efforts for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Child Advocacy Center, Special Olympics and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

"I've always believed to have a strong community and state we have to give back. I've been fortunate, and I want to see people given a hand-up, when they need one.” Hawk said.
Hawk spent 14 years on 103.7 The Buzz and still broadcasts all the football, basketball and baseball state championships on Arkansas PBS. He currently owns a real estate brokerage in Bryant called Realty One Group Pinnacle. He and his wife Brianna have a seven-year-old daughter, Addison, and a three-year-old son, Austin. Hawk is a staunch Republican and an unapologetic supporter of the 2nd Amendment. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and calling High School sports on local radio.
